Can you believe it’s almost time for Mission ENCOUNTER again?Mission ENCOUNTER is an annual Southern Florida District NYI & NMI co-sponsored event.Its purpose is to expose middle and high school students to God’s redemptive work in the world and help them realize that God has extended to each of us an invitation and calling to be a part of that work.Traditionally, the event begins on a Friday night with a worship service, is followed by a full day of volunteering in a southern Florida community, and concludes on Sunday morning with a final commissioning service.The date is set for November 12-14, 2010, and we will be gathering and working in the Miami area.It will, no doubt, be an experience that you’ll want your young people to be in on!
